Jason Hall received his musical training at the University of Toronto, The Banff Centre for the Arts and musical festivals in Nova Scotia, Sweden, Hungary and Austria. He was Principal Clarinettist with the Prince George Symphony before moving to Vancouver where he performed regularly with the Vancouver Symphony. Jason's other musical interests extend to composing, arranging and conducting. He has scored music for theatre and film including segments of the Over Canada film for Expo 2000 in Hanover, Germany and for the animated short, Przewalski's Horse which was screened at both the Texas and Amsterdam animated film festivals. Jason has also designed some clarinet workshops which he offers in local school. One called, "How to Squeak!" stresses the importance of great air support, relaxation and firm but flexible embouchure.
